The most vibrant film festival of the year, the London Latin American Film Festival, is taking place at the Riverside Studios cinema, Bolivar Hall, Duke of York cinema, Brighton, Dulwich Film Society and from the 6 to the 15 November 2009 bringing together the best and freshest of contemporary Latin American cinema with an exciting line up of films.
The London Latin American Film Festival provides a unique platform for new talent from the UK and abroad. We showcase cutting edge films from the next generation of young filmmakers, embracing every genre and style.
Another major goal is to highlight the multi-faceted heritage of Latin America, including its oral history and the culture of Latin Americans living in London.
It goes without saying that the Festival celebrates cultural diversity celebrating, as it does, the global phenomenon of the Latin Diaspora!
